Welcome to the 7th Grade Biome Wiki. Over the next few weeks you will be working with groups to create your own wikispace. The pages that you will need to include in this project have already been created for you, but it is your job to add content and creativity. You will need to research plants, animals, environmental issues, and the geography of your assigned biome.
One of the goals of this project is to learn more facts about the biomes of the world, but more importantly to gain an understanding of the importance of each biome and how biomes are just systems within the bigger system, our home Planet Earth.
During this project you will be given several individual and group tasks:
Individual Tasks:
Research of 1 Animal
Research of 1 Plant
Research of 1 Location w/ regional facts, climate, terrain, altitude,weather,etc - Will be put on your group's google map.
Journaling - you must respond to the weekly disscussion question on your wiki
